Born in 1963 in Khalkhal, Davar Yousefi began his studies in painting in 1989 in Islamic Azad University (central Tehran) and was graduated from the same university in 1995.

His first exhibition was held in Arya gallery in 1994 and has held seven solo exhibitions in Barg, Momayez, Azad art gallery and Iranian Artists’ Forum ever since. He also participated in more than 70 group exhibitions in Iran and other countries such as Canada, UAE, South Korea, Kuwait, Turkey, Italy and Greece.

In addition to teaching in Azad and Al-Zahra university as a member of faculty, Yousefi has held several workshops in Tehran Contemporary Museum and Ministry of Labour.

He has been the jury of over five festivals, symposiums and contests. Also, he has been involved in urban projects in Tehran since 2004.

He is the constant member of Iran Painters Association.
